We are an Austin gym where men and women workout using many of the same methods and equipment that Muay Thai Boxing and MMA fighters use to get in fighting shape. Impact is an effective alternative to the weights, aerobic classes, and treadmills of typical gyms in Austin.

At Impact, you have the opportunity to experience this type of training, and without having to climb into a ring or a cage and test yourself on a live opponent. Impact is a unique workout in Austin where you can receive all the benefits of training like a fighter, without a black eye.

MUAY THAI

Muay Thai Boxing (Thai kickboxing), literally translated means “The Art of  8 Weapons” (your fists, elbows, knees, & shins=8) and is fast, furious and effective. Muay Thai is one of the most powerful martial arts systems in the world. In fact, Muay Thai is so good, top martial artists sample from its technique base to increase their own effectiveness. Muay Thai is known for it’s physical conditioning and devastating strikes, the same 8 weapons you will be using to get yourself in great shape!

In addition to these drills, you will also be training in the hottest routines in the fitness industry, such as TRX Bodyweight Suspension Training, Kettle Bells, Ultimate Strikers . . .  We have combined ancient martial arts knowledge with modern state of the art research, to blend the best of the old, with the best of the new. Impact MMA Fitness workouts were developed by Professional Fighters working side by side with Certified Fitness Professionals.

We offer a convenient class schedule with morning, lunchtime, afternoon, evening, and weekend times. Our Interval training can also begin when you get here! And in 30 minutes, you’ll leave motivated and sore from the right challenge, soaked in sweat, and excited about the next time you come. Also, we will soon be offering specialized Austin Boot Camp Kickboxing Classes with – TRX, KettleBells, Muay Thai, and boxing gym workouts.
