On your first class, we will introduce you to your trainer. They will show you everything that you need to know to have a great workout.
At both IMPACT STRONG Downtown and South Austin gyms, we give you two unique, and very effective, 30 minute classes for you to choose from.
IMPACT Kickboxing features our quick and unique 30-minute workout format. “You will get better results in less time.” (A.C.S.M. – American College of Sports Medicine)
This isn’t the same kickboxing class from 1998 with roll out and rows of hanging bags you see most everywhere else.
You will begin here with a warm-up and some helpful Instruction. This workout is self-paced and has intense 60-second rounds.
And your Trainer is never more than a couple steps away. They are great motivators and know the pace and variations that are just right for you.
Workout variety is important we feel.
For one, variety in your workouts gives you the most results for your efforts!
Variety also makes it interesting and more fun. Whether you workout at IMPACT STRONG Fitness gyms in South Austin, Downtown Austin, or somewhere else, you aren’t likely to keep your enthusiasm when if feels repetitive to you.

HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.
In this class on any day, you will use PRIMAL7, Sandbags, Kettlebells, Bodyweight exercises, Battle ropes, obstacle training drills, jump blocks, and partner drills.
You get to choose which class you want to go to every day. Or do both back-to-back. We even have a name for it:
